#अमेरिकी_संसद पर हुई हिंसा पर आश्चर्य जताने वाले लोग शायद भूल रहे हैं कि इमरजेंसी के बाद इंदिरा गांधी को जेल से छुड़ाने के लिए #कांग्रेस के दो कार्यकर्ताओं ने इंडियन एयरलाइन का प्लेन हाईजैक कर लिया था।
जिसके पुरस्कार स्वरूप #इंदिरा_गांधी ने अपहरणकर्ताओं को पांच बार सांसद का टिकट भी दिया
ये बात 20 दिसम्बर 1978 की है... जब आपातकाल में इंदिरा गांधी के जुल्मों के कारण वे सत्ता से बाहर हो गई थीं और भृष्टाचार के आरोप में जेल में थीं...
तब लखनऊ से दिल्ली जाने वाली इंडियन एयरलाइंस की फ्लाइट IC 410 को, लखनऊ से उड़ने के चंद मिनटों बाद हाईजैक कर लिया गया था... इस फ़्लाइट में 130 के करीब यात्री थे...
हाईजैक करने वाले इंडियन यूथ कांग्रेस के दो सदस्य थे... एक आजमगढ़ का भोला पांडे था और दूसरा बलिया का देवेन्द्र पांडे था...
उन दो हथियार बंद हाईजैकर्स... ध्यान दें, हथियार बंद हैजेकर्स ने, यात्रियों को रिहा करने के बदले में तीन मांगे रखी थी...
पहली मांग इंदिरा गांधी को जेल से रिहा किया जाय...
दूसरी मांग संजय गांधी और इंदिरा गांधी के खिलाफ सारे आपराधिक मामले विड्राॅ किये जायें...
और तिसरी मांग केंद्र की जनता सरकार अपना इस्तीफा दे दे... जिसके प्रधान मंत्री श्री मोरारजी देसाई थे...
बाद में इन दोनों ने उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री के साथ बातचीत में सरेंडर कर दिया था...
इस घटना की सभी पार्टीयों ने जम कर आलोचना की सिर्फ कांग्रेस को छोड़कर...
पहले तो कांग्रेस ने इस घटना को सिर्फ एक मज़ाक समझ कर भूल जाने को कहा... पर संसद में चर्चा के दौरान कांग्रेस इससे भी एक कदम आगे चली गयी... कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ सांसदों, जिनमे वसंत साठे और आर वेंकटरमन थे, उन्होंने इस घटना की तुलना गांधी जी के नमक आंदोलन से कर डाली... और इसे अभिव्यक्ति की स्वतंत्रता और विरोध करने के अधिकार से जोड़ दिया था...
बाद में इन्हीं हाईजैकर्स को कांग्रेस ने, उत्तर प्रदेश से टिकट देकर, विधायक बनवाया और वेंकटरामन आगे जाकर देश के राष्ट्रपति बने...
भोला पांडे को कांग्रेस ने हाईजैकिंग के इस कारनामे को अंजाम देने के इनाम में 1991 से 2014 तक, पांच बार सांसद का टिकट भी दिया... जिसे वो कभी जीत ना सका... वरना एक हथियार बंद हाईजैकर भारतीय संसद में बैठा होता...
*किन किन लोगों को मालूम है ये घटना...किसी को नहीं... पर इस घटना से आप लोग कांग्रेस के चाल और चरित्र को और अधिक गहराई से जरूर जान लीजिये...*

Later, both of them surrendered in conversation with the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh ...
All parties strongly criticized this incident except Congress only…
At first, the Congress asked to forget this incident as just a joke ... But during the discussion in Parliament, the Congress went a step ahead ... Senior Congress MPs, including Vasant Sathe and R Venkataraman, Compared this incident to Gandhiji's salt movement ... and linked it to freedom of expression and right to protest ...
Later, the Congress gave these hijackers a ticket from Uttar Pradesh, made them MLAs and Venkataraman went ahead and became the President of the country…
Congress also gave Bhola Pandey a five-time MP ticket from 1991 to 2014, in reward for carrying out this feat of hijacking… which he could never win… otherwise an arms-off hijacker would have sat in the Indian Parliament. ..
